Songs
My all time favorite song, Moonlight Serenade, just played on the radio. Made me think about all the women I never got to love.
What's yours?
What's yours?
Spent a long career making lots of money for other people. Now it's my turn. _____________________________ Email: erikivanjames@gmail.com

Well, I don't usually think of women I didn't get to love.
Sandrasex, I already kinda sorta had that figured out. The question was supposed to ask, "What's your favorite song?"
Too many to choose - I have catholic and omniverous tastes.
If you want love, one( but not the only) is "No Other Love" by the Four Aces.
Melt.
Yep, too many to name. One will come on the air and I'll think - 'Gosh I like that one.'
What a Wonderful World never fails to make me want to hear it a second time.
There are too many to count. I have been thinking recently about getting an iPod so I can create a soundtrack for my life. It's a lot cheaper than paying a band to follow me around.
I like the theme from Somewhere In Time.
Tanya
Tanya,
Yes, a beautiful theme. The movie by that title was filmed on Mackinaw Island which is located in the Straits of Mackinaw between the two peninsulas of Michigan (about two hours north of where I live).
The majority of filming took place at the Grand Hotel located on the Island and the Hotel shows the movie on a scheduled basis in their own small theatre.
The title "Somewhere In Time" is still descriptive of the Hotel and the Island. The Island attracts millions of visitors from all over the world. Other than emergency equipment, there are no motorized vehicles on the Island. Walking, biking and horse are the only modes of transportation. A visit to the Island is truly a wonderful visit back in time.
Oh, my favourite song?
Oh boy. That's hard! One of them is "Pacing the Cage" by Bruce Cockburn.
Another is "High" by The Blue Nile.
Going classic - He Stopped Loving Her Today by George Jones and If You Could Read My Mind by Gordon Lightfoot.
I'll behave now.
Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley but Sintra singing Fly Me to the Moon or Dean Martin's Ain't that a Kick in the Head run close to the top.
Sandra, "If You Could read My Mind" is a theme of my novel.
"A Million Ways" by The Nylons.
Hubs serenaded that to me acapella when he proposed...then it was played during our wedding.
That was the first song I learned to play from memory on the piano. I love it. My favorite music/singer is Harry Belafonte.
