Night Walk
Last night my wife and I went for a long walk. It was very dark, and it was cold. The pleasant company of my wife kept me warm.

The "pleasant company" gets to be more and more important as the years go by. Tying this in to "Leaves", your prior post. Really did enjoy it.

I am really not sure if anyone will see this, but I wanted you all to know that our dear friend, Jerry...aka...erikivanjames...passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009.
As Luann left the above message. I attended Jerry aka Erik Ivan James' funeral. He loved this group of bloggers that followed his posts and enjoyed to comraderie amongst his fellow writers. He completed his novel and was shopping it for publication a few months ago prior to his death. I hope his wife continues - it could be a Confederacy of Dunces occurance...
